These days, it is pretty hard to find people who don't have some sort of fitness tracker on their person. We use them to encourage us to move more, track our calories, understand our sleep, and even change the way we go about our daily lives. Still, some fitness trackers are better than others, even though they all seem to cost around the same amount.

When you think about a high-quality fitness tracker, the first name that comes to mind is probably FitBit. The company really ushered in this movement and have continued to reinvent it. Today, they announced that they will be updating two of their devices: the Fitbit Charge and Fitbit Flex. They will also update the app to get new experiences.
Fitbit Charge 2
The Charge is probably one of the new favorites for Fitbit users. The display is nice, and in the new version, it will be four times larger so that you can choose from new clock faces, customize the look, and you will be able to see more notifications. It will also add interchangeable bands so that you can change colors or replace it.
However, the main reason people are excited about this new device is the Cardio Fitness Level Functionality. With it, you can get a personalized cardio fitness score and level. This is determined by using your VO2 max, something traditionally calculated at a doctor's office. With that knowledge, Fitbit will make suggestions about improving your fitness
The new device will also use Guided Breathing Sessions to help with meditation. The sessions are short but effective, according to Fast Company.
In order to be more accurate, the app on the phone will track and create a map of all of your movements throughout the day. It will also include a "Reminder to Move" feature which encourages you to walk 250 steps every hour in order to stay active and keep your metabolic rate high.
Fitbit Flex 2
The Fitbit Flex got an upgrade again as well. This new device is 30% smaller than its predecessor and it is now swim-proof. LED lights on the front indicate your progress toward your goals and gentle vibrations alert you when you are getting a text or call. Just like the others, there are Reminders to Move.
For those who are fashion conscious, Tory Burch, Public School, and Vera Wang for Kohl's will have fashionable accessories for the device. Fitbit will also have some more fashionable options in gold, silver, and rose gold.
