Pininfarina H2 Speed Concept Car Will Cost You $2.5 Million
  • Pininfarina H2 Speed Concept car is off to go into Production

Mahindra has given the permission to build 10 of these insanely expensive cars.

The last Geneva Auto Show saw a new concept of Pininfarina H2 Speed Concept car. As we know that many of the concepts of super sports cars remain a concept for most of the time, this is just not the case with H2.

The Italian design house Pininfarina which is now owned by Indian company Mahindra has designed this car. Mahindra has officially signed orders in order to produce 10 units of this Pininfarina H2 Speed Concept car.

These track only H2 racing cars will be built on the prototype of Le Mans Prototype 2. It will be built on the chassis which was homologated for FIA competition. It will also use the powertrain which is similar to that of the original concept which was introduced with prototype.

It will use two electric motors which will produce at least 503bhp on the rear wheels. The running gear for the car will be used from the GreenGT. This company is known for making green powertrains.

It is reported by Automotive News that H2 Speed’s working prototype will be finished in the coming few months and latest by early next year. After that it will be ready to go in production. The company is looking forward to produce it officially in another 12 months.

The company is describing the car to be a “Racing car for Gentleman drivers”. The cars will be really expensive, as they will cost around $2.5 million for a single unit.

The car is made according to the next generation safety technology. Its speed is inspired from 1069’s Sigma Formula One concept. Lets see if H2 will provide any benefits to the company.
