Huawei Announces Nova, Nova Plus and MediaPad M3 At IFA

There was no new Mate Series Phone at the IFA but Huawei did introduce us to the Huawei Nova Plus as well as the smaller Nova which resembles Nexus 6P alot and lastly the Huawei MediaPad M3.

The Nova Plus reminded us a lot of the Mate S with its aircraft-grade aluminum body shaped similarly as well the 5.5" screen. But the Nova Plus comes with a bigger battery which is 4,000 mAh as well as a better 16 MP rear and has OIS.

Apart from the 8 MP front camera that is the same for both the smaller Nova and the Nova Plus, both phones share other features as well such the USB Type-C connectors and the hybrid dual-SIM design.

The smaller Nova has 5” 1080 p screen and is compatible with knuckle gestures. It comes with a 12MP back camera and has phase-detection autofocus. The Huawei Nova is capable of recording 4K videos and has a fingerprint scanner below the camera as the Huawei P9.

The phones run Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Both of these phone will launch together this September and will almost have a similar price range of €400 to €430.

The MediaPad M3 has the same shape as the M2 and an aluminum body but comes with an 8.4" which has QHD resolution. There is a new set of finely tuned stereo speakers, courtesy of Harman/Kardon and the addition of an automatic equalizer adjusts according to the music playing.

The tab has a fingerprint reader both on the front and inside and is powered by a Kirin 950 chipset. It is available for sale for €350 if you are getting the 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant but if you want to upgrade to more storage and LTE connectivity then the tab costs an additional €50 respectively.
