The car will be launched next month. The car’s teaser is really short however we were able to grasp the LED tail-light design from the overview for the first time.
Most of the features of 2017 BMW 5 Series are pretty much in resemblance to that of 3 series cars. However this car has a muscular body that is also larger than Series 3. The body styling of this new car has given it an aggressive look that was lacking in the previous models.
This car also comes with increased length, width while the height is smaller. The car is aimed to have increased space for rear seat accommodation. Its body structure will be shared closely with 7 Series cars.
Both of these will follow CLAR that is regarded as cluster architecture. It has more aluminum in its castings than any other model making it a lighter car.
The new model will showcase the turbocharged four and six cylinder engines. Along with that customers will be able to get their hands on the plug-in powertrains which will be petrol-electric too.
The lower power cars of this 2017 BMW 5 Series are supposed to use B47 diesel and B48 four unit petrol engines. They will be available in 2.0 liter form which are pretty much like that of F10 model currently being used.
The non M model will get a 444bhp 4.4 liter engine that will be a V8 petrol engine. Along with that one can expect a 560bhp engine as well.
