Gigi Hadid revealed that best friend Taylor Swift was recording new music and thanked her for being there to support her.

It has been a long time coming. We have been anticipating this news since Taylor broke up with Calvin Harris. However, she was caught in a whirlwind romance with Tom Hiddleston and never went there.

The break up with Calvin got messy over a song, she had a very publically humiliating episode with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and to top it all off, she recently broke up with Tom Hiddleston as well. Talk about an emotionally charged year.

What the fans do know is that an emotionally charged Taylor Swift is the explosion for a new talent. Look at her last album 1989 which earned her the Richest Female Celebrity title on the Forbes List.

So now that Taylor is without the multiple distractions of romance and filled with the heartache of failed love, the news of her recording new music comes naturally.

Of course, it was nice that the news was confirmed by best friend Gigi Hadid. Gigi walked on the ramp in the Tommy Hilfiger show for her collaborative line with the designer at the New York Fashion Week.

Taylor made it a point to come out to New York and support and cheer on her best friend as she strutted her stuff. She also took a slight at ex Calvin Harris by singing his song ‘This is What You Came For’ while it played at the show.

While being interviewed backstage, Gigi told ET that Taylor was really a great friend. She shared that Taylor was working in the studio again and it was great that she was there to support her. She said that she was grateful for Taylor’s support.

Thanks Gigi, for confirming that for us and we will be waiting for some terrific music from Taylor’s side soon.
