Tim Cook Gave Sports Illustrated and ESPN an iPhone 7 Plus Over the Weekend

See the first sports photos taken with the new iPhone 7.

The iPhone 7 is available for pre-order since Friday and will start shipping coming Friday, September 16. Some lucky people already have an iPhone 7 in their hands. Tim Cook points on Twitter to a Sports Illustrated photo spread from the Titans vs. Vikings NFL game. The photos are made with the iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 7 Plus features the new dual lens camera system. Sports Illustrated photographer David E. Klutho snapped some great action shots of the game. See the iPhone 7 Plus photos here.

ESPN also got the new iPhone 7 Plus and they used it to take some photos of the US Open Finals. Novak Djokovic even signed iPhone 7 Plus case of ESPN photographer Landon Nordeman. See the iPhone 7 Plus photos ESPN took here.

The iPhone 7 Plus camera is not yet fully leveraged. The DSLR like ability to blur the background is coming later. The iPhone 7 Plus is in high demand and the Jet Black iPhone 7 is delayed until November if you pre-order now. Other colors have better shipping time frames with 2-3 weeks.
