First Ghost In the Shell Movie Trailers Reveals Scarlett Johansson as Hot Cyborg Police Woman

The live-action version of classic anime movie Ghost In The Shell gets a series of 5 teasers.

Scarlett Johansson is taking on Anime after ruling in Sci-fi movies. Johansson stars in the upcoming live-action adaption of the Ghost In The Shell manga series. If people know an Anime movie, it is likely the 1995 Ghost in the Shell movie.

In Ghost In the Shell a cyborg policewoman called The Major played by Scarlett Johansson, tries to bring down a computer hacker in a future world of biogenetic and cybernetics. Scarlett Johansson is a one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid in the film. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9, led by The Major, is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic¹s advancements in cyber technology.

The full plot of the 2107 Ghost In the Shell film are still under wraps.

Ghost In the Shell is a Japanese Manga and it is set in Japan. The choice of Scarlett Johansson for the role of the The Major has been heavily criticized. It is an obvious westernization of the Anime story. Johansson is not the only western actor in the cast of Ghost In the Shell. Michael Pitt is Kuze and Juliette Binoche's role is Dr. Oulet. The news about Johansson taking the lead role in Ghost In the Shell already broke back in 2014.

Rupert Sanders is directing this very Hollywood version of Ghost In the Shell.
