iPhone 7 Has The Best Smartphone Display

The display on the new iPhone 7 has been given the status of the best smartphone display available in the market at the moment.

Apart from being the brightest display that any iPhone has had till date, the display of the iPhone 7 performs exceptionally in other areas as well.

The report by DisplayMate says that the only similarity between the displays of an iPhone 7 and 6S is the fact that they are identical in size and shape.

The praise that the display has gotten is indicative of the fact that it may be better than the displays of any smartphone, not just iPhone’s.

The researchers took time to appreciate the phone’s brightness, power efficiency, and absolute color accuracy.

The screen is also 7% more efficient than the screen on the iPhone 6 despite the fact that it offers a bigger color gamut in comparison.

The report also stated that “In order to produce an accurate image, the display needs to produce an Accurate Luminance (Brightness) value for every color throughout its entire Color Space.

Many displays produce Accurate Colors but produce them with inaccurate Luminance values, so the pixels in the image appear with a systematically incorrect distribution of color and Brightness, which distorts the appearance of the picture.

Absolute Luminance Accuracy is a very important picture quality metric. These Absolute Luminance Accuracy results for the iPhone 7 are excellent and are visually indistinguishable from perfect.” This is high praise for iPhone 7 and something for Apple to be very proud of.
