Becoming a parent is a life altering experience. It seems even the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan are no exception from the rule.

A day ago Zuckerberg announced he will donate $3 billion dollars towards fighting diseases of all kinds. Today his wife revealed the reason behind their philanthropy.

It seems parenthood is making the duo work even harder towards making this word a better place for their daughter. Priscilla welcomed her first daughter with Zuckerberg named Max, last November.

According to Priscilla they are working harder to make a world a better place for their growing daughter. Priscilla shared all these tidbits during an interview with Savannah Guthrie.

Priscilla also shared with that she loves her little daughter more than she ever thought was possible. Similarly she has many hopes and dreams for her daughter.

Priscilla shared having their daughter is the main reason why she and her husband will give away 99% of their wealth, for the future of all children.

Priscilla also offered a rare glimpse into their personal life saying she and Zuckerberg are proud of almost every small little thing their daughter does. Whether it is eating, spitting, sleeping or even smiling, it makes them feel like she is special.

Priscilla also shed light on the couple’s previous battles to conceive and described it as a dark time when she thought the couple was alone.

But the plight of other people on the same path was very important for them and she wants everyone in the world going through fertility issues to know they are not alone. Priscilla also shared her daughter will be allowed to have a Facebook page but when she grows up to be 13 years old.
