Google Pixel Phone Leaks

A Canadian carrier leaks the Google Pixel Phone.

Google will host an event on October 4 to unveil new software and hardware. One of the new products will be the Google Pixel Phone. Here is how the Pixel Phone looks like. Bell Canada leaked the Pixel Phone on their site in a page for business users that is still under development. The title of the page reads "Samsung Galaxy Note 7."

Update: Now UK retailer Carphone Warehouse also leaked the Google Pixel Phone. This new leak not only leaks images of the Pixel, but also specifications. The Google Pixel phone has a 12.3MP camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint sensor, 32GB Storage (up to 128GB) and 32h talk time. The leak also confirms that there will be a 5-inch Pixel and a 5.5-inch Pixel XL model. The Pixel Phones run on the Snapdragon 820 and come with Google Assistant on Android 7.1.

The Pixel page is still live on the Carphone Warehouse site.

The page does not reveal anything about the specifications of the Pixel Phone. It shows besides a standard looking smartphone a new home-screen with a prominent G button on the left.

It is believed that Google is discarding the Nexus brand name and reintroducing its phones by the name of pixel. Some independent sources are of the claim that an announcement of two phones will be made named as for one we all know Pixel and the other as Pixel XL. The phones will have different screen sizes, the smaller one might have a 5 inch display and on the other hand the larger one could have a 5.5 screen.

Google's October 4 event is seen to have more focus on software. There have been several media reports that say that Google is revolutionizing Android to make it available anywhere where there is a connection to the internet. Google might be even more aggressive about that than Microsoft's vision of Windows everywhere. The land grab for the billions of IoT devices is already underway.

The leak has been spotted by Steve Hemmerstoffer aka @OnLeaks. Read everything we know about the Google October 4 Event.
