The Mercedes-AMG E63 performance model will make its debut in January in Detroit Motor Show. This is the first time this car is getting a four-wheel drive. Moers said while talking to AutoCar, that this car will have a four-wheel drive along with drift mode. The drift mode will surely excite the people who love to run their cars fast.

The 50 year-old AMG Chairman at Mercedes also said that they are off to offer E63’s standard electronic stability control system in the car. It will provide an additional torque to the drive of car that will result in the announced Drift Mode.

The Drift Mode like this was first introduced in the Ford Focus RS. However Mercedes is claiming that the drift mode included in E63 will be far better than that of Ford.

According to the chairman, this Mercedes-AMG E63 will be faster than ever. The older model of E63 was offered in two drive terrains including rear wheel or four wheel drive modes. It was also revealed that the new E63 might include a variant that might offer 600bhp.

It will be offered in 4.0 liter V8 petrol engine and 5.5 liter V8 petrol engine. The 5.5 liter petrol engine will offer an output of 549bhp on standard tune. While in the S tune, it will provide the power of 577bhp.
