Ford F-Series Super Duty Truck Delayed due to Parts Issue
  • “Parts Issue” Causes a Delay in Launch of Ford F-Series Truck

The F-Series Super Duty will be launched a little late from the intended date now.

The 2017 F-Series Super Duty is a brand new truck with loads of exciting features that make it a true and loyal super duty one. Ford has also claimed that it is one of the most super duty trucks ever created by the company.

Autoblog tested the truck in August and it was evaluated that the truck needed a few tweaks to be finally called as the most Super Duty truck ever!

Now according to a recent report by The Wall Street Journal, a union official at Ford, who works at the Louisville, KY truck factory revealed that the delivery of trucks will be late.

They reported that there are a few parts issues that will make the production of these trucks complete later than expected. Thus we will see them late in the market as well.

The delay of F-Series Super Duty truck will surely affect the company in negative way. The announcement was made to the workers by an official letter which was sent to them from company.

The letter contained the information that the production will get late. According to Rodney James who is the truck factory’s union chairman said, “It will be impossible to build al the lost units in the third-quarters”.

The company will be facing issues like delayed launch of the F-Series Super Duty truck this year. However it look like Ford is trying to make up for it by launching more units in the production as compared to the ones which were intended at first.

Ford faced similar issued of delayed production when it came to F-150. It had happened due to the lack of availability of the frame of truck.
