The pictures that have been released show that input has been made on the front and rear both bumpers of car. These images were first shared with the host of “The Cammed & Tubbed Podcast” via AutoCar.
The car is supposed to be revealed in the pre-production form in March 2017 at Geneva Motor Show. The BMW is planning to release the car much sooner than other next generation 5 series life cycle. The model will go on sale in the next coming few months too.
The 5 series has undergone some subtle styling for the next generation models. The BMW M5 however has been given a makeover that is new yet pretty close to the older version as well. The more significant changes in this new model will be about the technicalities and engine.
The closest rival of BMW M5 is none other than Mercedes-AMG E 63. The E 63 has an output of 603bhp and a 627lb.ft torque. We are expecting that BMW M5 will have same kind of features when we talk about the up-gradation that is being done under the hood of car.
The car might use an updated version of its own 4.4 liter V8 petrol engine. We are also hoping to see a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox in the car’s transmission.
It is also being rumored that the new BMW M5 will be a first non SUV M car by the company to have all-wheel drive as an option.
