  • Seat going to launch its First Ever EV in year 2019

Seat is now making its own electric vehicle in 2019

The first ever electric vehicle made by Seat is announced by the company to be launched in the year 2019. This EV is getting launched even before the arrival of company’s large SUV and the Arona model which is a small SUV.

This announcement was made by the executive of market research and product strategy, Enrique Pastor at the launch of facelifted Leon. He said that that the first EV by Seat is going to be launched before the large SUV model, according to AutoCar.

This kind of announcement dictates the fact that this new EV can be an entirely new model or can be an all-electric model of an already existing car. We might see a facelifted all electric version of Ateca or new Leon or both. As they are both off to arrive around the same time.

At the Leon launch, hybrids and electric vehicles were discussed for most of the time. Thus it gets the fact on the surface that Seat is actually working pretty hard in order to work for an electric powertrain car. This kind of power terrain was missing from the fleet of cars of company.

Thus, it is the right time that they are off you go towards a new horizon of explorations. All over the world EVs are getting famous day by day thus it would be beneficial for the cars to be the part of this brand.

Seat revealed that the Hybrid power terrain is pretty much expensive for the brand’s target market. However they are hoping to build EV from the year 2019 on regular basis. The exact date of the arrival of SUV was not confirmed by any company official and they remained tight lipped about it.
