Planet Nine Tilt the Entire Solar System
  • The entire solar system may be titled thanks to ‘Planet Nine’

If the newly supposed Planet Nine exists in our solar system then it may have slanted the entire system. Mysterious Planet Nine appears to be responsible for the unusual tilt of the sun

Earlier in January scientists gave us much to think about when they announced there may be another planet existing in the solar system.

If the supposed planet does exist then it would be called Planet Nine. Now where did we get the idea that such a planet may exist? From distance anomalies in the solar system!

Similar the putative Planet Nine would be 10 times the size of the earth. Planet Nine’s distance to the sun would be 500 times greater than its distance to the sun. Then researchers dropped another bombshell.

The supposed Planet Nine’s would have a highly tilted orbit. The orbit would be very slanted when compared with the relatively thin and flat zone in which all the other eight planets circle the sun. Further probing into the orbit of Planet Nine was subsequently started by the researchers.

Now all that probing has come up with another tremendous revelation; Planet Nine might have tilted the entire solar system. Well... maybe except for the sun.

The theory is that the yet to be found Planet Nine may have slowly tilted all of the other planets, including Earth, in the lifetime of the solar system, according to Phys.org.

This new theory was brought forward through a study led by an astrophysicist and planetary scientist; Elizabeth Bailey from the California Institute of Technology.

Bailey along with her co-workers carried out computer simulations to come up with this new theory. The simulations suggest the tilt of the eighth planet can be attributed due to the gravitational influence of Planet Nine. The next step would be to find out if there really is a Planet Nine or just some mathematical glitch.
