Here Is Our First Look At Huawei Mate 9 In Purple

Introducing unique colors for the flagship lineup is a norm these days.

Huawei Mate 9 is anticipated to be announced on November 3 which is more than two weeks from now. As the big day is approaching we are getting more updated and continuous leaks on the high end phablet and here we are with another one for you.

This leak comes from a trusted source Evan Blass i.e. @evleaks. A single image shows a flat screen Manhattan version in a darker than the typical gold purplish tint. Some speculate a premium version known as the dual curved Long Island Model will also be available.

In addition there is also a minor design change from the previously released leaks. We now find the lens to be relocated from the top to the side. There is also a Leica branded dual camera setup present too. The design we are seeing now seems to be final. Huawei persists to call this camera development as ‘co-developed’.

Another main feature of the Huawei Mate 9 hardware is the type C USB Port at the bottom of the device. This development is proof enough that Huawei is trying to keep up with times and that too in a progressive way not in the ‘ditch the headphone jack’ type of way.

There is also a 3.5 mm jack on top of the phablet. The other hole hints to be too large to be a secondary mic and surprisingly there is another one right above the camera on the back of the device.

For now, this remains a mystery. As far as the specs are concerned a Kirin 960 chipset is most likely to be present. Also a 6 inch Full HD screen also seems to be a safe bet at least for the Manhattan body. However, all will make sense in due time.
