The popular Target Buy 2, Get 1 Free Video Game Holiday sale begins Sunday.

Update Oct. 30: The Target Buy 2, Get 1 Free Video Game sale is live online at target.com. The sale includes unreleased video games including the new Call of Duty.

The Target Buy 2, Get 1 Free Video game sale has almost become a tradition. This year Target's big video game sale begins earlier than in past years. In 2015 the Target Buy 2, Get 1 Free video game sale started on November 8. Target has moved up the Holiday video game sale in a response to the Presidential election, taking place on November 8.

The Target Buy 2, Get 1 Free video game sale is available online at target.com and in Target stores around the country.

The Target video game sale has almost no exceptions. The sale includes all new releases including Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty Infinity Warfare. The new Call of Duty game will be released on November 4. Other popular video games in this sale are Titanfall 2, Gears fo Wars 4 and NBA2K17. The Target ad also features Skylanders and Lego Dimensions games.

The lower priced of the selected three games will be free. The Target Buy 2, Get 1 Free sale will run for one week and offered online and in Target retail stores. Target REDCard members can as always save another 5%.

There is also like last year a Buy 2, Get 1 free deal for board games, but you cannot mix and match with the B2G1 video game sale.

Target is again offering free shipping for the Holidays starting on October 30 without a basket limit. For the video game sale this does make a difference as your basket will be for sure above $25. Target is offering free shipping all year round for purchases of $25 and up.

The Target video game sale is a great way to save on brand-new video game releases. You can get your hands on the games early and save about $20 to $30 per game. There will be better Black Friday 2016 video game deals, but you still would need to wait 3 to 4 weeks until retailer offer those deals.

Before you jump on the Target Buy 2, Get 1 free video game sale make sure to check the deals on Amazon.com, GameStop and Best Buy. These retailer do not just sit on the side lines when Target is hosting a popular week-long video game sale.
