VW premiers 2018 Atlas, biggest SUV ever made by company. The seven seater SUV is the new thing for America, The Chattanooga-built Atlas arrives with a full slate of available driver assistance and technology features, a massive interior and a choice of two powertrains.

Volkswagen has unveiled Atlas SUV for America recently. This is going to be the biggest SUV ever made by the company. The SUV will be seven seater and before this none of the seven seater SUVs were released in US by the company.

The new 2018 Atlas will be manufactured and designed in the Volkswagen factory which is located in Chattanooga in USA. This will be a start of something new for the brand and current model in that factory. 

The SUV is getting all the attention of customers and media mainly due to its humongous size. It is the most spacious SUV you can find in America. Along with that it will offer a full range of driver assistance that will make the drive of this vehicle something to look forward to. 

It will be available in two engines. One of them will be 2.0 TSI four-cylinder turbo charged engine and the other will be a 3.6 VR6 engine. Both of these engines are supposed to come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The vehicle will be available in two drive options too. It will be available in front-wheel drive and Four-wheel drive, where the 4 wheel drive will be available for VR6 models. 

Woebcken, the Volkswagen CEO of North America said, "This is the biggest and boldest Volkswagen we have ever built in the United States, delivering the distinctive design and craftsmanship we're known for, now with room for seven."

The Atlas will come with driver’s assistance features that will include Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Emergency Braking, Parking Steering System, and Blind Spot detection system among many others. The car will be available for sale in later part of year 2018.
