Galaxy S8 To Feature "slick design", Improved Camera And Enhanced AI Service

Things are getting worst for Samsung, but there is still hope....

The Note 7 recall has hurt Samsung’s bottom line this quarter. The company is expected to lose $5 billion over this whole recall.

However the South Korean manufacturer is looking forward to turn things around with the launch of its Galaxy S8 early next year.

According to the Wall Street Journal Samsung plans to incorporate a slick design, improved camera as well as an enhanced AI service.

This comment has been given by Lee Kyeong tae. He is the vice president for Samsung mobile communication. He did not specify how the artificial intelligence service would work.

However Samsung will likely make use of its recent acquisition of Viv. It will build an assistant that will respond to natural language queries.

Viv is listed as a next generation assistant. It is able to write its own code in order to handle new tasks.

It is also rumoured that Galaxy S8 will be the first phone to be able to give optical fingerprint recognition.

The finger print sensor will be embedded under the display. Samsung is expected to show the phone next Febuary.
