Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 8 Instant Camera Is Hot Holiday 2016 Gift

According to the bestseller charts in Amazon, Instant photo camera trend is back.

Instant photos are back and Fujifilm rides the wave on top with the INSTAX Mini 8 Instant Camera line. Polaroid was synonymous with instant photography back in the day. Fujifilm offered instant cameras since the 90s, but their new line of INSTAX Mini 8 cameras are bestsellers.

Instax film is the 3rd most selling item in the Electronics bestseller chart. The blue Fujifilm Instax mini 8 camera ranks 13th and the red model ranks at 28th. Mind you that we talking about all electronics sold on Amazon including TVs, tablets, cables and more.

Digital cameras sales have slowed dramatically because of smartphone cameras replacing the traditional pocket cameras. The new iPhone 7 Plus even tries to make DSLR cameras uncessary with its Portrait mode.

The Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 8 Instant Camera comes in different colors including a Hello Kitty version. Prices start at $50.99 on Amazon. Expect to find a Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 8 Instant Camera under your Christmas tree this year. The Fujifilm INSTAX Mini Instant Film Twin Pack sells for $11.49 on amazon.com and is required accessory as the Instax Mini 8 camera sells without film.

The photos taken with the Fujifilm Instax mini 8 cameras are really small. They have the size of a credit-card (54 x 86mm). There is also an Instax Wide 300 Instant camera line that makes larger photos of the size of 3.4" x 4.2".

Next year a square format Instax camera is scheduled to be released. Find more Holiday 2016 gifts and Holiday catalogs in our Holiday Gift Guide section.
