  • Loch Ness Monster Like Sea Creature Spotted Swimming in Alaska

A viral video clip on the internet showed a creature that resembled the Loch Ness Monster.

The Chena River is a favorite haunt of Craig McCaa. He often takes photos of the place and shares it with others. On October 18th, he decided to take a few pics of the river and the ice forming on top of it.

However, what he saw left him in a state of puzzlement and amazement. Something large and serpentine in nature seemed to be moving beneath the surface of the water.

This strange and weird thing never really revealed itself fully. It continued to move about beneath the surface in a mysterious manner. Just the top ridges of it were exposed to the camera’s eye.

McCaa took a brief video clip of the strange occurrence and posted it on his Facebook page. By dusk, it had been seen by 20,900 people. The speculation had reached a feverish pitch regarding what the creature actually was.

In the beginning both McCaa and several of his colleagues thought it may be a lengthy rope that had entangled itself in the ice blocks. Yet with the passage of time, they realized that such was not the case. It was more than an inanimate thing.

The range of lucky guesses go from a sea monster to a giant sturgeon. Some have even compared the lengthy creature with humps to the Loch Ness Monster. McCaa admits that minor additions, such as a speeded-up pace and camcorder view screen, were made to the video clip.

However, other than these small adjustments, the video is 100% genuine. The living object – whatever it was – happened to be between 12 and 15 feet in length.

It undulated in the water many times as it remained pretty much static. McCaa has yet to show the video clip to the local biologists who will properly determine what the creature is in the first place.

The discovery of this enigmatic creature is a very big serendipity of sorts before Halloween. According to Alaska Disptach News, McCaa admits that he doesn’t know what his thoughts would have been had be come to the area in a canoe or boat.

He would have surely felt threatened. Yet from his vantage point, on the bridge, he didn’t feel the least bit insecure. As for many skeptics, they contend that it may be a large and long piece of rope that got stuck in several ice fragments and floated in the waters of the Chena River.

They admit that it may be very interesting to say that the video clip shows a sea monster yet the fact of the matter is that it is just a piece of rope floating in the river. After all, reality is a great source of disillusionment.
