Survey Results Show 12 Out Of 24 Note 7 Users Switched To iPhone 7

Things are already not looking good for Samsung and now this!!

IDC, a Research Firm has surveyed 1082 U.S customers who were using Note 7 through an online survey. Out of the 1082 customers, 507 happened to be current Samsung owners, 347 were previous Samsung users and 228 had never owned a Samsung device before.

Only 24 users in the survey were owners of Samsung Note 7 both in the past and in the present too. The key findings from the survey show that half of the Note 7 customers said they have or will opt for an iPhone 7 as a replacement to their Samsung device.

Around 17% stated that they would go for another Samsung. Most of the customers stated they will return the Note 7 physically to the carrier store. The recall however doesn’t have to have much of a negative impact on the Samsung brand.

Many of the surveyed customers said that the recall would not impact their future decisions of other non-Smartphone appliances and products from Samsung. The recall in reality may have an adverse effect on Samsung in short term.

The truth however is that Samsung remains to be the clear market leader in the Smartphone market. Samsung just needs to put the Note 7 to rest quickly and direct all of its efforts towards producing a stellar Samsung Galaxy S8.
