Apple iPhone 8 Will Reportedl Support Wireless Charging Out Of Box

iPhone 8 Wireless Charging Is Being Tested By Foxconn

A Japanese publisher Nikkei Asian Review has hinted that Apple might be getting a wireless charging for the iPhone next year. The publisher cites it has gained information from industry sources. The publisher claims that Apple is just waiting for a confirmation from Foxconn, its iPhone builder.

The company is still working to improve yield rates for wireless components to satisfactory levels. Apple is very much keen to opt for wireless charging in the iPhone 8. However the decision depends on Foxconn’s ability to increase production.

Foxconn is expected to get wireless charging ready for at least one iPhone next year. But we still have no indication whether the product will be ready for shipment in September. Wireless technology is not new in the Smartphone industry.

Many Smartphone makers have made this feature available since many years. This report does not clarify a rumor that Apple wireless charging will include the ability to charge from a distance. It is clear that Foxconn is working to make this thing happen.

But we still do not know if it will be able to build wibuild wireless charging features into every iPhone it makes.
