2016 MacBook Pro’s Storage Is Blazing Fast

Apple’s MacBook Pro line up may receive some criticism on the removal of things such as the MagSafe connector and the SD card Slot. However, one thing that the Apple MacBook Pro line up is really strong at is raw power. The ComputerWorld analysts have investigated and reached to a conclusion that the Apple MacBook Pro could be the fastest computer on this planet.

The Apple Pro has high speed due to its super-fast PCI e-based solid drive. In comparison the previous Macbook Pro notebooks, the previous models gave read speeds of 1.6GBps and maximum sequential write speeds of 1.5GBps. Those numbers were huge at that time. Now Apple has again upped the bar. Starting with the MacBook Pro 2016 13 inch model, this model has read/write speed of 3.1GBps and 2.1GBps respectively.

The new 15 inch model increases the write speed to 2.2GBps but read speed remains same. No matter which model you go for in the MacBook Pro 2016 range you will get a faster speed than the earlier versions. That is pretty impressive. The new high end MacBook Pro has a quadcore intel i7 chips which are capable of speed 2.7GHz with 16GB RAM.

This means you will have little struggle if any with this notebook. The Objective Analysis analyst of Computerworld, Jim Handy believes Apple decision to opt for the PCIe SSD will soon be followed up by the rest of the PC market in the coming years. This Apple flagship notebook seems to form the trend.
