It has been proved that belly fat may be cut considerably by using canola oil in your daily diet.

Canola oil, when it is part of a good diet, may reduce central obesity in as short a time span as 30 days. Abdominal fat is the kind which is very harmful and may cause CV disease.

Also metabolic syndrome and diabetes are worsened when you have that spare tire around your waist. The monounsaturated fats in canola oil cause an onslaught on visceral fat and decrease many health risks. 

After a month of following the canola oil diet, approximately 0.11 kilograms of belly fat was reduced from around the waists of the followers of this diet. The weight that was decreased from the belly did not get added onto other parts of the body.

The findings of the study concerning this phenomenon were presented at The Obesity Society’s Annual Scientific Meeting.

While spot reduction has been laughed off as a waste of time, in fact canola oil can cause belly fat to be cut quicker than the fat on the rest of the body. This is also seen in case of other monounsaturated fats such as extra virgin olive oil.

Canola oil ought to be incorporated into one’s everyday diet. This could be done by adding it to salad dressings and also by sauteing food in it. Baking foods in canola oil and adding it to smoothies and milkshakes is another means of reaping the benefits of this wonder food.

Ordinary canola oil caused a wonderful trimming of the puppy pooch that normally appears as a part of the trend which is known as middle age spread. Five different vegetable oils were tested to see which one was the most effective.

These included: canola oil, high-oleic acid canola, the same as the previous one with DHA, corn/safflower and last but not least flax/safflower oil. These were made a part of 101 individuals’ diets.

After a month, the participants were given a month’s recess time before the next diet. Two smoothies per day was standard fare for the dieters.

All the participants had everything from type 2 diabetes to central obesity and metabolic syndrome. They lost considerable amounts of fat from around the belly and so the experiment was a successful one.
