Seems like Google Pixel is doing well as compared to the Nexus 6P.

The Pixel duo is the first series of home grown Smartphones by Google. Google previously collaborated with other device makers to create Nexus Phones.

According to Appboy, Google has never pushed this much for a phone as it is doing for the Pixel phones. As per the firm this hard work is actually paying off.

Coming to the statistics Google XL reached a market share comparable to that of Nexus 6P two weeks after launch. These numbers also include the stock shortages observed both at Verizon and Google stores.

The Google XL doubled its launch day numbers in merely a week. Its percentage increase was 158%. Don’t underestimate the smaller Pixel. It is also showing amazing growth too.

Just after a week of its launch its numbers increased by 274%. If we compare these results with the market leader Samsung, the S7 took a week extra to double its numbers. On the other hand its predecessor Galaxy S6 grew 171% in a week.

The relative numbers indicate the Pixel is the winner. However the absolute number of the Samsung Galaxy S phones in the first week is far more than the Pixel. Pixel proves itself. The results are not at all bad for a new brand in this competitive Smartphone industry.
