Sony PS4 Pro Launches with over 40 Games

Sony revealed a list of over 40 games that are optimized for the new PS4 Pro.

Early adopters of the new Sony PS4 Pro can enjoy over 40 games that make use of the new power of the PS4 Pro. Offering enhanced performance via boosted CPU and GPU, with resolutions up to 4K, HDR imaging technology, and faster, more stable frame rates, the PS4 Pro is for gamers that want the best game play experience.

The $399 Sony PS4 will be released on November 10. Sony got many game studios to update their games for the Sony PS4 Pro. Some games have updates to add Pro support, while more recent titles like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare have Pro enhancements built into the base game.

The list of PS4 Pro supporting games include Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Dishonored 2, Driveclub VR, EA Sports FIFA 17, Firewatch, Helldivers, Hitman, Ratchet & Clank, Rez Infinite, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Robinson: The Journey, Titanfall 2, Uncharted 4 and more. In addition to the titles listed above, more than 45 games will be optimized for PS4 Pro by the end of the year, including Watch Dogs 2, Killing Floor 2, The Last Guardian, and Final Fantasy XV — with the likes of Nioh, Resident Evil 7 biohazard, and For Honor to follow in early 2017. All first party software launched in 2017 and beyond, including Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and Gran Turismo Sport will make use o the PS4 Pro features.

The Sony PS4 Pro is available for pre-order on The new console ranks under the top ten most sold items in the video game category on Amazon. At this point we do not anticipate Sony to launch any Sony PS4 Pro bundles for the holidays. We also do not expect to see Black Friday deals on the Sony PS4 Pro.
