The second generation 2017 A5 Cabriolet will be available for sale in March 2017.

The 2017 A5 Cabriolet has been revealed a few days before its official launch at the Los Angeles Motor Show. The car will be revealed at the event officially on November 14th for a world debut.

The car is supposed to reach the UK region in March 2017 where the sales are supposed to start in the same month as well, according to AutoCar.

The 2017 A5 Cabriolet is a four-seater car with an open roof which will share the same platform like that of the sister car A5 Coupe which was recently introduced. The A5 Coupe has a fixed roof as compared to this one. 

The company has used the MLB Evolution structure in this car which is supposed to be hot-formed high-strength steel. It is supposed to make the car more efficient than ever along with formulating firmness in the body too. It will make it more agile and easier to handle as compared to the older platforms according to Audi. 

The 2017 A5 Cabriolet is 47 mm longer than its previous model. Its wheel base is elongated too by 14mm. the increased space has given a 14mm overall rear seat knee room making it more spacious than ever. Thus overall increasing the boot space by 60 liters. 

This 2017 A5 Cabriolet has an automated opening boot lid. It can be operated via a button the remote of car or from the button on driver door which is placed inside the car. Along with that it will come with customized gesture control function as well.

This will lead the boot lid to open when any presence will be detected at the rear of car. It has gotten a front wheel drive and will be available in 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder TFSI unit pumping the power of 248bhp. It will be available diesel engine too.
