  • Tesla Model S P100D will become faster than ever

The new P100D will be able to perform better than 60mph in 2.5 seconds acceleration of current model!

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla motors has recently shared a tweet with its fans all around the world. According to his announcement, the Model S P100D is going to get much better than its earlier models.

The CEO tweeted that an upgrade is going to be made in the Ludicrous Mode of P100D which will make it even more performance oriented. He tweeted that there will be a Ludicrous Easter egg {sic} but did not give any further details on the story.

The P90D model of Model S has been discontinued recently in order to give way for new models with better battery powers and mileages.

The new Ludicrous Mode has the ability to go 60mph in less than 2.5 seconds on full efficient mode, according to AutoCar. Now this acceleration will be available in P100D model only as the P90D model is no longer produced.

Musk has made this announcement along with the other announcements that were centered on the Model S range. These include a panoramic sunroof in the price of $1500.

Earlier on customers were able to get a sunroof in this price. However after the formulation of company’s own glass division, this will be done on their own in a much efficient and affordable way.

Elon explained that the panoramic roof is pretty hard to assemble and to install but it surely makes the interior look amazing. The new glass roof will not be compatible with the roof racks.

The sunroofs only will be compatible with rack. Musk supplied that the overall structure has been improved for security and the new roof performed five star plus performance in the roll over safety.

Musk had also announced earlier on that a solar roof in under development as well. We might see a solar roof option in the upcoming Model 3 variants.
