Samsung Recalls 2.8 Million Washing Machines

Here is another unfortunate recall from the Korean giant.

Samsung has been going through a rough patch lately. 2016 has not been kind to Samsung. The year started off well with great Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge Reviews.

Sales were going great however things turned sour when Samsung faced a twice –over recall and discontinuation of the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung now faces another recall.

This time it is a Samsung washing machine. Samsung is issuing a recall of 2.8 million washing machines. It has been proven that these machines are defected. It is possible that a portion of the machine may detach while in use.

This is very hazardous. It may cause potential injury due to the explosion risk. Given Samsung’s current customer relations this recall is not good at all. Almost 733 reports have been received by Samsung which faced the issue.

Nine out of these machines also caused injury. Samsung has given two options in this scenario in a press release. One can just hope this recall does not cause more damage to the company than the Galaxy Note 7.
