Cara Dlevingne calls out the lingerie company Victoria’s Secret for rejecting her previously for being bloated.

As the Victoria’s Secret annual fashion show draws nearer, the excitement of the fans increase. Featuring some of the biggest current names in the modelling industry including Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and many more.

The show will make its debut in Paris and will feature musical guests such as Lady Gaga, The Weekend and Bruno Mars. So it’s all excitement and all the buzz.

Amid that buzz, the British newspaper The Sun published an article in which they reported that Cara Delevingne, the British model had been turned down previously during the casting of the fashion show.

The article said that Cara claimed that the lingerie company had rejected her on the pretenses of being bloated. The article was taken down after Victoria’s Secret responded to the article.

Cara was not keeping it quiet though. She posted a letter on her Instagram that she had received from Edward Razek, Victoria’s Secret CMO and executive producer of the Fashion Show.

In the letter, he denies all the claims made by the article. He wrote that he could not believe that The Sun and Cara had reported a story that was a complete ‘fabrication’.

He wrote that The Sun had never called him to check the facts which was unsatisfactory. He wrote that he had made every effort for her to be in the London show.

She was the first person they had called and she was confirmed before any kind of casting. He reminded her that she had not been able to appear on the show because she had been shooting for a movie in North Carolina.

He invited her for this year’s Paris show. He said that if she was free on November 30th, she was welcome to join the show. There was no casting required. Cara captioned the letter’s image with, ‘it's shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers #bloated’

Who do we believe? Will Cara actually join the Paris show or will she remain aloof from the world’s lingerie brand?
