The vehicle is to become the new global model for the company.

The 2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport is due to be launched in December this year. It will be properly released in the year 2017 for sale. The Grand Sport is supposed to sit on top of the other two models in the Insignia 2017 line up. The company is due to launch five new models in 2017.

This new 2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport will be joining the new Insignia Sport Tourer and Country Tourer. The Country Tourer is supposed to be more rugged in nature and hence will come with a four wheel drive as well.

The car will be set up with an aggressive chassis as compared to older models. Its debut is supposed to happen in December, according to AutoCar

The 2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport is supposed to be lighter and faster than ever. The biggest changes that one can easily detect are the elongation of wheelbase and the reduction of weight around 150kg on the whole.

The new Insignia is supposed to become a true global car. It will be sold under the brand names such as Vauxhall, Buick and Opel. The car will be sold under these badges in Europe, China and US. It’s going to be a main rival to Ford Mondeo in Britain.

The new car was spotted while being developed in testing a few months back by Auto Car. It was seen that the car has a new leaping roofline. This roofline is supposed to be higher and wide from the back.

The car which was spotted was hid in a way that exact details were not to be seen. Thus the major styling was not evident. We might see it with the GM 1.6 liter CDTi diesel engine. It will offer a horsepower of 136bhp to 170bhp.
