Pokemon Go Bonus Event Brings More Pokemon and Items

Niantic's next event in Pokemon Go is here.

The new released Pokemon Go app updates 0.45.0 for Android and 1.15.0 bring the Daily Bonus program, that Niantic has announced last week. Trainers earn bonuses for the first Pokemon catch and PokeStop visit each day. They receive a larger bonus when you do this seven days in a row.

Catching a Pokemon every day will earn trainers 500 XP and 600 Stardust. If you catching a Pokemon every day for 7 days straight will earn you 2,000 XP and 2,400 Stardust.

Visiting a PokeStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn 500 XP and a number of additional items. Visiting a PokeStop every day for 7 days straight will earn 2,000 XP and more additional items.

To mark the launch of the daily bonus program, Niantic launched a week long event that runs from November 7th to November 11th. During the event trainers get more items at PokeStops and more Pokemon spawn. More items means more Great Balls, and for Trainers that are level 20 and above get more Ultra Balls.

The Bonus event is possibly aimed at smoothing over the new speed limit visiting PokeStops, This has already angered a lot of trainers. It is yet another move by Niantic to not encourage to play Pokemon Go while in a car. The speed limit appears to be 25mph. There is already a speed limit on the Pokemon you can see in Sightings, now there is a speed limit on spinning PokeStops too. More Pokemon Go news.
