Hatchimals are Best-selling Toy in Amazon Pre Black Friday Sale

The Hatchimals take second and third spot in the Amazon Toy sales charts.

The Hatchimals are the hottest Holiday toy of 2016. The demand for these cute interactive hatchlings is already causing prices to triple from the regular $59.99 price. Spin Master, maker of Hatchimals, has already issued a warning that most consumers who want a Hatchimals Egg will not get one in time for the Holidays. The supply is limited for November and demand will only be fully filled in 2017.

Despite the shortage, the Hatchimals are listing in the toy best seller chart on Amazon. Amazon has a bustling reseller market for Hatchimals and we have seen in stock alerts for Hatchimals on Amazon as well over the past days. The scale of Hatchimals sales must be quite high considering that Hatchimals are the 2nd and third most selling toy on Amazon in early Black Friday sales.

Hatchimals are only topped by the family game Pie Face, which is on sale for $12.99 on amazon.com. In this game you literally get pie (whipped cream) in your face when you lose. Update 11/09: Hatchimals just took over the top spot in the best-selling toy chart. The Hatchimals Penguala Pink egg is the new toy best seller on Amazon. This comes after the Amazon sold new stock of Hatchimals priced at the regular $59.99 price.

The best-selling Hatchimals Egg on Amazon right now is the Pink Penguala, followed by the Purple and Blue Draggles. The Pink and Blue Penguala rank at 10th place.

Spin Master has underestimated the demand for Hatchimals in the United States. The clever designed Hatchimals push all the right buttons to become a viral hot Holiday toy. To begin with the little creature are extremely cute with their wide eyes. The interaction between kids and Hatchimal already starts inside the egg. Hatchimalls blink with their eyes, make cute noises and knock against the shell.

There is surprise factor until hatching as each egg has one of two different colored Hatchimal inside. There are five kinds of Hatchimals with three of them sold exclusively at specific stores including Walmart, ToysRUs and Target. The "Furby inside an egg" toy are shipping world-wide, adding extra constraint to the domestic availability of the toy. UK consumers also facing a shortage already too.

Another sign how big Hatchimals are is the growing availability of third party items for Hatchimals. You can get hatching chairs, nests and clothes for Hatchimals. If you are new to Hatchimals read our Hatchimals guide that introduces all five kinds of Hatchimals and explain how this new must have holiday toy works.
