The car was spotted with less camo then ever!

The BMW 5 Series Sedan which was hidden from the prying eyes earlier on is now revealed. The car was spotted recently with minimum camouflage which gave a pretty nice view from up front.

According to AutoBlog, the car was covered in camo at the back but the rest of it was exposed. The rear hatch, tail lights and back doors were the only things that were not open for the eyes to see.

The model has some of the basic wagon specific changes. The doors of this car look longer and the back windows look longer as well. It looks like the increased size is due to the increase in cargo area of the car.

BMW has introduced the D-pillar in the car again in order to go for a more conventional design. Before this they were using the C-Pillar.

The new G30 5 Series Touring will be showcased with the same kind if active systems that were debuted in saloon version of car. These will include the semi-autonomous driving function and the latest electronic safety systems.

The engine that will be used is supposed to be the one used in Saloon too. It is supposed to get a plug in hybrid powertrain which is used in 530e. It has a four cylinder turbo charged 2.9 liter engine with an electric motor.

It has the capability to produce 249bhp. The company will be promoting the option of all wheel drive to customers in eight speed automatic transmission.

There are number of options to choose from in order to use for the most powerful engine for Touring. The regular 5 series saloon has a 4.4 liter V8 twin turbo engine with a power of 455bhp. It is rumored that the new G30 5 Series will be revealed in January 2017.
