Brad Pitt has been going through a personal life family crisis presently. His divorce and the prospect of losing his children can be contributed to the star’s time in the dark. However, he could not stay out of the public eye for long.

Brad Pitt, 52, made his first official red carpet appearance for his latest World War II romantic drama ‘Allied’ at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, according to ETonline.

Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the movie features Pitt as an intelligence officer who falls in love with another intelligence officer played by Marion Cotillard.

Dressed in a black suit with a white button down shirt and no tie, the actor stayed for a long time on the red carpet. He signed autographs, posed for selfies with many fans and even stopped for a Facebook Live interview to talk about the movie.

He revealed that he had watched a lot of Joseph Cotton to prepare for his role. Referring to the iconic leading man of the 1940s, who starred in the post-World War II noir drama The Third Man and the legendary Citizen Kane, Pitt chose Cotton as his inspiration for his character for the movie which is most modeled visually on the style of classic Hollywood films. Marion Cotillard her inspiration in the four-time Oscar nominee Greta Garbo.

The co-stars also posed together for a strong Hollywood signature red carpet pose. Cotillard supported a baby bump in a blue, full length gown and side swept hair. She and her long-time partner, French filmmaker Guillaume Canet announced their second pregnancy back in September. Pitt also recently appeared alongside Julia Roberts for a screening of Moonlight.
