Alfa Romeo Will Introduce Nine New Cars by 2021

Alfa is going to launch rival cars for every big brand in order to get successful sales

The Italian company Alfa Romeo is all set to bring a fleet of new cars in its collection. Thus the company is aiming to introduce 9 new cars by the end of year 2021. The launch of Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV is actually the start of this plan by company.

The new nine cars will be launched one by one in the next five years to come. These cars will focus on rivaling for the BMW 5 series, a flagship large SUV and a new sports car too.

The 3 Series rival by Alfa Romeo named Giulia got appreciative comments from all over the world, along with that the car managed to go steady sales in the start of its launch. Reid Bigland, the boss of company is now looking forward to implement new plans for the company.

The Giulia based Stelvio SUV is the first step of the plan which is supposed to launch in 2017. The Alfa Boss is looking for new technology to boost up the SUV production and increase their sales by year 2020 too.

Bigland has served in Alfa Romeo’s North American Branch and has served as the president of Ram and Dodge brands too. He has now joined the firm here to produce more innovative vehicles in the fleet.

According to AutoCar, Alfa sales in the year 2001 were about 200,000 cars in a single year. However the number decreased dramatically in the last decade and now it has lessened to around 60,000 units per year.

The Stelvio SUV will be the rival of BMW X3 and Audi Q5. The Large SUV is supposed to have the same platform like that of Maserati Levante that will arrive in 2018. There will be anew Saloon and a new Brera too.
