It looks like Donald Trump has a main man who will do away with Obama’s environmental achievements.

Donald Trump and the EPA don’t exactly see eye to eye. He has openly shown his hatred of this agency. Trump even went so far as to say that this organization had fallen to levels of disgrace during President Obama’s eight years in office.

Trump calls what Obama worked so hard to achieve as a load of useless regulations. He wants to roll back the whole environmental plan and make America great again.

Oil, coal and gas will once again have their heyday thanks to Trump. The main man who will carry out Trump’s power agenda is Myron Ebell. This individual has been a long-term opponent of what he terms is the over-doing of the environmental spiel.

Global warming is just another word to him for big government and so both ought to be done away with. Ebell wants to open up lands for logging purposes and wants to dig deeper for oil and gas. Also coal will be mined in an intensive manner if he and Trump have their way.

Ebell also wants the United States to reject the Paris Agreement on climate change, according to NYTimes. This man has for many years been active in the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI).

This is a conservative group that receives funding from ExxonMobil. Another agency which has funded CEI is Donors Trust. This agency is supported by Koch Industries.

Ebell by the way is not a scientist. This means that much of what he operates on is mere hearsay. He is against any talk regarding environmental protection.

Also he wants the USA to go full steam ahead into hyper-industrialization instead of energy rationing. Thus he cuts a fine figure for a president like Trump.

Trump has called global warming a hoax, according to WashingtonPost. Ebell refused to be interviewed recently and is keeping the whole matter regarding his role among Trump’s cronies hushed up. Yet he will surely play a crucial role since he fits the bill.

The top priorities of both Trump and Ebell match each other down to the last details. Trump wants energy independence for the United States. The new POTUS will even carry the mission of greater fossil fuel usage to offshore areas.

While Trump has said that he will see to it that the beauty of some of our natural wilderness regions are conserved, how he plans on carrying this out with Ebell on board is a mystery wrapped in an enigma.
