How to Call the NES Powerline

This weekend owners of the NES Classic call the Nintendo Power Line for gaming questions.

This weekend Nintendo offers tips and tricks for playing games on the NES Classic on a phone hotline. Nintendo is bringing back its righteously nostalgic Power Line for three days only.

The original Nintendo Power Line was a popular service in the 1980s that connected games to Nintendo Game Play Counselors who offered helpful tips and tricks. In this fully automated version, you can use your real-life phone to dial 425-885-7529 to hear recorded tips for several games, plus behind-the-scenes stories from original Nintendo Game Play Counselors.

So when you play one of the 30 Nintendo Entertainment System games during the launch weekend you might find yourself puzzled by some of the more challenging games like “How do I find the first Warp Whistle in Super Mario Bros. 3", you just call the phone number 425-885-7529.

Nintendo recruited for the Powerline and original Powerline operator.

The $59.99 Nintendo NES Classic Edition has sold out on launch day. Nintendo said in a statement to have more inventory rolling in during the Holidays. Demand is though the roof. Some eBay listings of the NES Classic are in priced for several thousand Dollars. Find out how to find a Nintendo NES Classic in stock.

The NES Classic console is officially on sale as of November 11. The shrunk NES console features the classic Nintendo NES controller many geeks have grown up with. The retro console comes pre-installed with 30 classic NES games including Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Metroid, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Kirby's Adventures. The NES Classic Edition system is a miniaturized version of the groundbreaking NES, originally released in 1985.
