One of John Oliver's early lines include "It’s true. That happened," Oliver said, adding, "America proved no grandpa is too racist to become the leader of the free world."

Oliver also puts in perspective the current sentiment of giving Trump a chance. He says that giving Trump a chance is dangerous based on what he has proposed during the campaign.

John Oliver also calls out the media, who had a big role in making Trump President. The media gobbled up Trump's antics, rallies and speeches early on and give him unprecedented free air time without any criticism.

The show also hits on the issue with fake news on Facebook that might have had an impact too. A scary number of Americans only gets their news on Facebook. When you have seen what is trending on Facebook each day, you know that this is just terrifying.

The past week showed which comedy shows and late night TV shows are only catering to supporters of Hillary Clinton and the democrats. Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah and Chelsea Handler don't care that half the country is not watching their shows. Include John Oliver into that list who do not care.
