Amazon Services Expands to 20 More Cities ahead of Holidays

The Amazon local services offering comes to more cities.

Amazon today announced the expansion of Amazon Home Services into 20 new metropolitan areas across the country, including Indianapolis, Las Vegas, San Antonio, Ann Arbor, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Boulder, Raleigh, Trenton and more.

Amazon Home Services features handpicked pros offering upfront pricing on hundreds of helpful services. Local service providers opt-in to where they operate and the services they provide. Customers purchasing items on Amazon that require assembly or installation can include the service as part of their checkout process.

Ahead of the Holidays, Amazon Services can provide you with a local professional to install the 65-inch 4K HDR TV consumers scored on Black Friday. Amazon offers a guide that helps you to find out if you need help to wall mount your new 4K Home Theater display.

“We’re thrilled to be offering more Amazon customers access to our network of trusted pros throughout the U.S.,” said Nish Lathia, General Manager of Amazon Home Services. “Today, customers can search over 1,200 unique services from pros in over 60 professions – from house cleaning, to lawn work and beyond. The availability of Home Services in more cities means that more customers can quickly find and schedule the help they need around the house heading into the holiday season.”

Since Amazon Home Services launched in 2015, the number of service providers has increased over 1,500 percent, now including service providers from almost 60 professions offering over 1,200 unique services.

The local Amazon Services offers are available on amazon.com/services. The highly anticipated Amazon Black Friday 2016 deals are expected to be announced this week.
