A few weeks ago, Apple debuted the new Touch Bar MacBook. They spent a majority of their time talking about how their software would interact with the new features. That isn't surprising as there really was a lot to cover. They also have a vested interest in what they create.

Still, the company is also aware that if they want their product to be successful, they have to have third-party support. Accordingly, Apple has created a page that offers up the development kit guidelines for creating software that will work with the skinny new retina touchscreen display.

It also said that there are third-party apps from big name companies like Adobe and Microsoft who are offering up functionality for Photoshop and Office.

Now, the company has announced a list of 20 apps that will utilize Touch Bar functionality by the end of 2016, according to TechCrunch.
