The smartphone is set to release in January at CES 2017

Google and Asus are working currently on a new smartphone technology. This is the reason that the news is that Asus will be manufacturing a new smartphone that is supposed to feature Google Tango Ready Smartphone technology.

The report by Digitimes suggest that Asus’s CEO Jerry Shen has shared that they will be launching this phone in 2017. Asus is getting ready to launch the “ZenFone AR” in the year 2017 at CES.

Shen also shared that ZenFone AR is supposed to hit the markets with latest google technology and performance in a highly competitive price.

It is expected that Asus will showcase Google Tango features in the CES next year too. There is no news however about the fact if the company will work on multiple phones using this technology or will focus on one model of handset only. 

The Project Tango by Google is a fascinating concept that is based on vision and perception. The concept uses the machine vision with a camera and sensor that helps in multiple functions.

By using depth perception, motion detection and area learning, this technology can bring about a lot of fun stuff for users too. The technology in smartphones can help in playing augmented reality applications, indoor navigation, virtual reality based applications and games along with 3D vision. 

Shen announced that ZenFone 4 range of phone will be introduced in second quarter of 2017 for sale in the market. These new models will have better cameras and thus giving better picture quality. This month the first ever Tango Smartphone went on sale with a price of $449.

The phone was released on the Lenovo platform by the name of Phab 2 Pro. It has a 6.4 inches QHD IPS Display and four camera. It has a 16 megapixel main camera and 8 megapixel front camera.
