The LA motor show brought out the new second generation 2017 Mazda CX-5

Mazda’s upcoming 2017 Mazda CX-5 was revealed today at the LA motor show. It looks the second generation CX-5 is offered by company in order to follow the popularity of SUVs all around the globe.

According to Mazda, the new 2017 Mazda CX-5 will go on sale from mid of 2017. The company believes that this SUV will start a generation of cars which will focus on bringing pleasure, comfort and the best drive possible all on a single family vehicle platform. This SUV has a simplistic Japanese design which makes it stand out among the other rivals. 

The design of 2017 Mazda CX-5 is pretty much inspired from the US focused CX-9. The CX-5 will follow a unique design of its own in a few dimensions too.

It has sleek headlights and a very wide grille that makes the front of the SUV look bigger. It also gives it a monstrous look. The bulky wheels and big arches on wheel also give it a rugged look.

The wheelbase of the new CX-5 is unchanged and will be following the footsteps of the previous model. The car has 2700mm long wheel base but the inclusion of shorter overhangs of the vehicle has decreased its length by 5mm. 

It will sit 100 wider at front and thus will bring about a sportier look for SUV. The cabin of the vehicle has been designed in such a way that it focuses on driver’s ease.

The dashboard features a 7.0 inches display that is accompanied by a 4.6 inches TFT instrumental panel. It will be offered with hands free phone operation technology, Bose sound system and ambient noise technology. 

The CX-5 will be offered 0 with 2.2 liters Skyactiv-D diesel engine and a 2.2 liter Skyactiv-G petrol engine. The overall horsepower of this vehicle will be about 163 to 173bp.
