Lamborghini Huracan to provide a thrilling open air drive experience with rear wheel drive

Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 Spyder will be available in rear wheel drive option too. The car was already present in the Lamborghini line up but it was seen that the V10 powered car was missing something.

Well it looks like the car was simply missing the rear wheel drive which is now officially offered by the company. It was previously offered in a convertible option which made it a great choice for Lamborghini lovers, now adding the rear wheel drive makes it more appealing.

The car has been given a new front and rear design which will make it look different from other models too. The car belongs to the fleet of company’s V10 engine vehicles.

It will have an output of 580bhp and will have the ability to top 0-100km/h in mere 3.6 seconds. Lamborghini Huracan will have a top speed of 319 km/h.

The car has been given brilliantly designed Pirelli PZero tires that are excellent for its rear wheel fast drive. The tires will sit on 19 inches Kari rims. It has been given specially contoured steel brakes which are combined with aluminum brake disc pots.

These help in weight reduction when the brake is applied and also tends to cool down in a faster way. The cockpit of Lamborghini Huracan features the latest Lamborghini infotainment system II. It comprises of a 12.3 high resolution TFT instrument panel.

Another worth noting thing in the latest Lamborghini Huracan is the inclusion of a soft top. The top will have the ability to open and close in mere 17 seconds even on speeds up to 50 km/h. The top is styled in a way that it tones down according to the dimension of car and highlight its shape when it is opened.

“The rear-wheel drive Spyder enlarges the Huracán family’s core product range,” says Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stefano Domenicali.

“It offers the lifestyle appeal of open-air motoring with the pure thrill of rear-wheel drive engineering. This is a Lamborghini for those with a passion for life and the purest driving experience on the open road. It’s also a Huracán for those entering the Lamborghini family, wanting a true Spyder experience without compromising on the performance and dynamic handling of a rear-wheel drive car.”

The rear-wheel drive Spyder will be available in markets worldwide from January 2017, priced between the two and four-wheel drive coupe models and completing the core Huracán product range.
