The Acura Precision Cockpit is the new system designed by company that is supposed to bring about a lot of innovation in the cockpit of your car. The system is supposed to infuse Acura operating system and next generation touchpad interface in a stylish manner. 

Then the company has introduced Acura Watch that infarcted in 70,000 vehicles which provides drivers assistance. Along with that it has the ability to provide Traffic Jam Assistance too. 

The Acura Precision Cockpit seats and interior is pretty sporty to look at and is inspired by NSX. The interior sports leather, natural wood finishing and Brushed metal.

The interior has been given alcantara finishing making it look more luxurious than anything. The premium look of the cockpit can be felt through the amber LED lighting and cabin’s own elegant design.

The instrumental panel of the Acura Precision Cockpit will showcase a 12.3 inches wide driver’s display. The display is etched in a leather double surface keeper.

There is a matching center display in the cabin too that has is placed in a high position but a visually accurate location. It is placed in the line of driver’s sight making it easier for the driver to look at it. There are various themes that can be selected by the driver to match the mood or season outside. 

The system will provide the opportunity of connectivity and semi-automated technology. The system has an advanced mode and make use of sensors to display the oncoming cars, pedestrians and traffic ahead.

"Absolute positioning transforms the touchpad experience, making it personal, intuitive and particularly well-suited for premium, driver-centric, performance machines," said Dave Marek, Acura's executive creative director. "It's also designed to be quickly and easily adopted, as drivers become acclimated and comfortable in minutes."

The artificial intelligence used in the system will make sure that the driver gets to know about the traffic situation ahead of time too. The system thus will provide the overall connectivity to the driver with luxury. 

"Advances in electrification, automated vehicles and connectivity are fundamentally reshaping the future of mobility," said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura. "Acura is determined to leverage this massive shift to deliver unique expressions of performance to our customers."
