Microsoft Xbox One S Holiday TV Commercial Celebrates HDR Gaming

The Xbox One S is available in tempting Black Friday deals. Now Microsoft supports retail channels with a new TV commercial for the Xbox One S.

Microsoft found a way to slam the Sony PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. Sony is not offering a 4K Ultra HD drive in its new generation of consoles. Microsoft slogan for the Xbox One S is therefore "The new Xbox One S is the only console with 4K Blu-ray, 4K video streaming, and HDR." Sony's argument is that 4K Ultra HD is not going to be a thing and everyone is going to stream 4K video. We believe Sony is a bit ahead of the time with that stance.

We see a lot of interest in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players and in deals on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray movies.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) makes games richer with more luminous colors and higher contrasts. Xbox One games like Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3 support HDR. With a higher contrast ratio between lights and darks, High Dynamic Range technology brings out the true visual depth of your games and 4K entertainment.

While the Xbox One S is a bargain in Black Friday sales, selling for $249, a 4K TV with full HDR support is slamming the Holiday budget. The HDR support in PS4, PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro and Xbox One S spurs the sale of 4K TVs that support the latest HDR10 standard. There are 55-inch 4K HDR TV deals for under $1,000.
