Samsung Plans to Resell Recalled Galaxy Note 7 as Refurbished Units

Not Again!!

This news may be quite shocking for those who have actually experienced the Note 7 burning up in flames. However it seems that Samsung is not yet ready to give up on its Note 7 range.

Reports are emerging from South Korea via Theinvestor that Samsung is discussing the prospect of reselling the recalled units of Galaxy Note 7 as refurbished units. The source behind this information has also suggested that this is not the final decision of the company, but we may be seeing the refurbished units next year.

This move may be an attempt to make up for the loss the company suffered from recalling the Galaxy Note 7. It is very sad indeed as the handset was doing extremely well before the epidemic took place.

If this attempt actually does take shape it is most likely Samsung will introduce such hardware in to Indian or Vietnamese market instead of the US and European market. However any launch will be subject to the safety assurance offered by the company to its consumers.

Only time will tell if Samsung is ready to risk its reputation by re-introducing the handset which had to recalled due to the safety hazard it became. Samsung certainly cannot afford anymore mis-haps.
