NES Classic In Stock at Walmart at 5pm ET Last Time

The daily Nintendo NES Classic sale at the Walmart online shop is taking place the last time today.

Update: Walmart just announced to offer again limited NES Classic stock online today at 5pm ET and on Tuesday 5pm ET. Walmart's Facebook page post says: "Want the hottest gift of the holiday season? Well, come and get it at http://Walmart.com. It’s available for sale at 2pm PST on 11/21 and 11/22. Limited inventory. Limit 1 per customer."

The NES Classic Flash sales continue on walmart.com. Good luck beating the Tai Ding Bot.

Walmart has announced to sell limited quantities of the hyped Nintendo NES Classic each day from November 14 to November 15 at 5pm ET, 2pm PT. Today is the last day of the announced daily NES Classic sale.

Update: The NES Classic sale on Friday at walmart.com had more inventory than the days before. For the first time this week, real-time inventory trackers including zoolert spotted the NES Classic in stock at walmart. Again the sale lasted less than a minute. At this point there are no new announcements about the next NES Classic online sale. The NES Classic is rumored to be in stock in Best Buy Stores this weekend.

As reported yesterday, each day the NES went on sale at walmart.com, it was sold out in seconds. It sold out so fast that real-time tracking services never spotted it in stock the whole week.

We have confirmed that Walmart was indeed putting up $59.99 NES Classic consoles for sale at 5pm each day this week. We have talked to a reseller who uses the infamous Tai Ding bot to snag up a dozen NES on Wednesday to flip them on the reseller marketplaces to make around $150 in profits. We also learned from a shopper how he scored a NES without using a bot.

This whole week, Walmart was the only online store offering the NES Classic. No other online store has stock. After today, the only chance to find a NES Classic in stock is in stores. People who are in the market for a NES should visit their local Walmart, Target, ToysRUs and GameStop to find out about the NES supply situation. In case the stores receive stock ask the store associates at what time the shelves get stocked. Some social engineering might get you to the NES Classic quicker.

To beat the bots today at 5pm ET at walmart.com to buy a NES Classic you need to bring your A game. Make sure you are logged into your account on walmart.com with credit card information stored into the account. You also should already configure Walmart store (My Store) where you want to pick up your NES. This is faster and cheaper than getting it shipped. When it is time you need to move fast with your mouse and react to what is happening in your browser. Use the browser's back button in case the cart fails. Try yout luck one more time at 5pm ET on this walmart.com page.

The NES Classic Edition sells for a minimum of $224.99 from resellers at the Amazon Market Place.

The new Nintendo Entertainment System is a great item for the Holidays. It works great as gift for adults as well as kids. Families can enjoy playing the simple video games from the 80s together. There are 3rd party controllers and accessories that make the NES more fun to use.

Nintendo knows it messed up, underestimating the demand for the NES Classic Edition. Nintendo has issued a statement on Twitter on November 11 acknowledging the shortage of the NES Classic Edition. "The Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition system is a hot item, and we are working hard to keep up with consumer demand. There will be a steady flow of additional systems through the holiday shopping season and into the new year. Please contact your local retailers to check availability."

The shrunk NES console, retailing for $59.99 list price, features the classic Nintendo NES controller many geeks have grown up with. The retro console comes pre-installed with 30 classic NES games including Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Metroid, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda and Kirby's Adventures. The NES Classic Edition system is a miniaturized version of the groundbreaking NES, originally released in 1985.
