Steve Mollenkopf will talk about the revolutionary effect of the technology in this era

The CEO of Qualcomm Steve Mollenkopf will deliver a keynote address on 5G at the upcoming CES 2017. The speech will discuss the latest mobile technology and its revolutionary effect in this era.

According to the CTA this keynote is of particular importance since it will discuss the latest standards of enabling faster speeds, higher capacity and lower latency in mobile technology.

The address will take place on Friday the 6th of January inside the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian. The main points discussed during the keynote will include the revolutionary impact of 5G on day-to-day life.

Both the technological and experiential perspective of the 5G tech will be discussed in the keynote. Even the impact of this tech on industries outside of mobile will take place.

According to Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association, Mollenkopf is a leader in the mobile world. Mollenkopf has been very instrumental in steering their Qualcomm smartphones towards the mainstream industry.

Currently Qualcomm sits at the forefront of innovation in this world driven by mobile devices and connectivity.

For the past 30 years Qualcomm has been working towards defining the wireless industry. First the leader in telecommunication led the world towards 3G and 4G, and now to 5G.

5G is one the rise and this foundational technology has a bright future. So far 5G has promised connectivity on a massive scale which will facilitate numerous immersive experiences.

The address will take place at the CES convention which is a powerhouse for connected and mobile-first technology. The CES event will take place in the city of Las Vegas from the 5th to the 8th of January, 2017.
